A Nod to Hubbell

Ask not what your ceiling can do for you - ask what you can do for your ceiling.

In design school, a professor of mine would over-emphasize ceiling detail.  So many times he told me, "Think about the ceiling plane."  I don't think I could have gotten away with just a material application, but I'm loving how impressive it is residentially.

For a child's room, wallpapering the ceiling will guarantee the lux covering from getting damaged (potential crayon creations and sporty scuff marks).  This unexpected feature will add some luxury and intrigue to an otherwise uninspired space.

In a room with all windows, creating unfussy drama is easily solved with a wood-plank ceiling.  I saw this application on a kitchen episode of Dear Genevieve as well.  It is bound to become the pride of the space.

Who wants to change up their ceilings now?  I know I do.
